belated anniversary July 2, 2008

I just realized, I totally forgot yesterday was July 1st. 
July 1st was, apparently, the anniversary of when my guardian got assigned. (I managed to derive that information based on this story, for those who are new to the weblog.)
I would normally try to make a fuss over the date, except I didn’t realize it was even July until this morning, when I changed calendars and said, “Oh yeah, it’s the second.” The fact that the second usually follows the first didn’t penetrate my brain until about ten minutes ago.
To my guardian: I’m sorry. I’m really sorry, and you deserve better than that.
To my readers: tomorrow I’ll tell you the story of how I “met” him for the first time, keeping in mind that no, I’ve never knowingly seen an angel.
