Urgent prayers, please

On my parenting board, in the last 24 hours we’ve had:

1) one woman whose mother died in a car accident (and she herself was hurt)

2) one woman who delivered a baby, and the baby’s heart stopped after delivery. The baby was rushed into intensive care and life-flighted to another hospital.

3) one woman whose three year old daughter was diagnosed with leukemia during an ER visit for something unrelated.

Please pray for these three families, most especially for the baby (whose case is the most urgent.)  May God bring His healing down on these families, healing both soul and body, offering the strength and comfort of the Holy Spirit during these wrenching times. We ask this with all our hearts, amen.

[UPDATES: The little girl with leukemia responded well to a transfusion and their community is coming forward and helping with the logistics of the family having to care for other children as well as the one in the hospital. The baby has been diagnosed with a pulmonary bleed and brain swelling, unknown cause at the moment. Please keep the family in your prayers.]

I’m going to the Shrine of St John Neumann tomorrow. I’ll pray for them all there. St John had such a love for children… Everyone really.
